Our Projects

Our Projects

Celebrated our sustainable programs not only provide food and income for our children, they also serve as valuable training of life skills like growing fruits and vegetables, fish farming and animal husbandry. Every child has a job to do.

Our Garden Project includes growing crops like papayas, bananas, melons, corn, tomatoes and cucumbers. A three foot high thorn bush hedge surrounds the garden and fish pond and acts as a fence to prevent animals from eating crops and destroying the projects.

Catfish and tilapia are raised in the Fish Project. On barren land, two ponds were dug with shovels and picks. Each pond is approximately 18 feet wide, 30 feet long and 4 feet deep. The ponds were lined with black plastic, then the surface was covered with strips of plastic to prevent birds from taking the fish. It took approximately a year before the fish were large enough to eat and sell.

Cow, Chicken, Garden Projects

We believe… in providing a hope and a future.

One of the most creative but logical and time-proven ways to provide food and healthy diet for vulnerable children in Africa is the cow, chicken, and garden projects. The idea is to give a source of food while teaching children life-sustaining ethics rather than short-term relief.

While some orphanages and care centers are located…

Holy Eucharist

Sunday, March 26, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Worship in the Episcopal Church rests on scripture and the traditions of the elegant language of the Book of Common Prayer. While the worship might seem more formal than spontaneous, we reliably read scripture every time we worship together, and we follow the liturgy that has stood the test of time. Our worship is in letting the liturgy carry us along into a deeper spiritual awareness and connection with God.
